The deputy Minister of Rural Development and Food, Mr. Markos Bolaris, visited Fromagerie ARVANITI on 24/3/16.

Mr. Bolaris was toured at the production areas, the packaging, the cheese maturing areas and he monitored from close how the dairy works. Simultaneously the methods of traditional cheese-making applied by Fromagerie ARVANITI was explained to him and he tried our authentic flavors, such as PDO Feta, Goat cheese and Braid, who have made the taste of Greek cheeses known worldwide.

Manolis and Michalis Arvanitis discussed with dep. Minister on issues that concern the Greek cheesemakers, the ways to control unfair competition in the food sector and the need for help from the Greek State, in order to help the export efforts.

Having seen the number and the importance of the prizes awarded in Fromagerie ARVANITI, Mr Bolaris congratulated the owners and the employees of the dairy for the excellent international image and the visible results of their work.
