At an event held on September 17th, 2017 in the town of Bra, Italy, Mr. Michalis Arvanitis was honored by the Guilde Internationale des Fromagers with his membership, entitled Gard et Jure as a new member.
The Guilde Internationale des Fromagers has a long history since it was founded as a non-profit organization in 1901, having as its sole purpose the creation of a global network of experienced cheesemakers.
The Guilde has over 6000 members now, with presence in Switzerland, France and the rest of Europe as well as a total of 33 other countries in the world.
To spread his message and philosophy over the years, the Guilde created clubs and embassies. mainly under the name “New World Club” in 12 European countries, in the US, Canada, Mexico and Australia.
To promote people working in dairy throughout the world, the Guilde also helps maintain the know-how, which is the symbol of respect for the traditions in the modern world.
Michalis induction to the Guilde Internationale des Fromagers was made by Ambassador of the Guilde, Mr Here Davoine.
