Between April 24th to 26th Arvanitis S.A. attended FHV – Food hotel Vietnam 2013, a European Commission initiative to improve trade relations with S.E.-Asia. Vietnam presented a touch of the exotic and a great deal of promise as a growing economy, as well as a regional trade hub. We had the honor to present the Feta PDO to the Vietnamese public and exhibition visitors. A lot of important companies attended and promising contacts were made.

In the framework of the European Commission’s mission, on April 23rd a seminar took place regarding P.D.O. products, where we had the chance to present our company as the producer of a very important P.D.O. cheese, the Feta. The seminar was attended by journalists, importers and important figures of the food market, who exhibited intense interest for the cheese’s European tradition.

The increasing interest of the Vietnamese for European products was profound. In fact, the state Vietnamese channel VTV had an extensive expose on the mission and a personal interview with Michalis Arvanitis.
