Mr. Michalis Arvanitis in his speech developed the strategic plan which a Greek company should have to withstand the pressure of international competition at world level, thw investment in human resources and know-how and to exploit the comparative advantages of the Greek land and tradition to succeed in the export sector. At the same time, he referred to the systematic work, perseverance needed until the final result, and the deepknowledge of the international food market which is rapidly evolving.<\/p>\n
The Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Markos Bolaris, stressed in his greeting that it is necessity to change direction in the food processing industry of Greece, with a change of direction which puts the quality in production, quality certification, the name of the product, the integration of innovation and the maximum added value, political extroversion, increasing exports.<\/p>\n
Greetings were also given by the President of SEVE, Mr. Kyriakos Loufakis, the President of the Hellenic-Italian Chamber of Thessaloniki, Mr. Christos Sarantopoulos and the Ambassador of Italy, Mr. Efisio Luigi Marras.<\/p>\n
