At the Fromagerie ARVANITI we attach great importance to the quality of our raw material. The only ingredient in our cheeses is the fresh milk we collect every day from our almost 400 farmers, with whom we maintain long-lasting relationships of trust. Here you can see the faces behind this tedious job, as well as their personal story.
Thessaloniki is at the center of Greece's largest milk production. In central Macedonia, 50% of Greece's total milk is produced here and 30% of Feta's total production. From this area we have access for milk collection and immediate transfer to the cheese-making unit to produce our traditional cheeses.
Our non-negotiable principle is to use only fresh local milk. By closely monitoring each stage of milk production and processing we use - from proper nutrition and animal health to final disposal of the product to the consumer – we at the Fromagerie ARVANITI work with every day to provide consistently high-quality products without compromise.
Dedicated to our quality, with a proven knowledge of modern methods that ensure healthy enjoyment and faith in traditional cheese making, we preserve the local character of our cheeses. Thus, we offer products that continue the rich and long-lasting Greek cheese history, with a pure and authentic taste that awakens the memory and honors the tradition.
