FOODEX2008 it was quite strange feeling to present Greek cheeses for Japanese market. However, the visitors from Japan and other Asian countries in the Foodex 2008 in Tokyo, did show a growing interest in the important Greek cheeses, such as Feta, Manouri etc. Our second attempt in the Foodex, was surely more successful than the last years one.
European cheeses are getting more and more popular in Japan, however the Greek ones are still in the beginning of their recognition by the Japanese customers. Meetings we had, pointed out there is a rosy prospect for the Greek cheese in the Japanese market.
