At the Fromagerie ARVANITI, we collect only domestic Greek milk and develop our activities for the benefit of the local economy. In the 2017-2018 milk season which just finished, we received over 12,000 tons of milk from 438 farmers in central Macedonia (Halkidiki, Thessaloniki, Kilkis, Serres, Imathia). The average increase in milk intake over the last five years is 15-20% per year. A rhythm, particularly incremental.

For another year, we have maintained the best payment for our producers, having the shortest payback of the market. Also, the producers are supported by the Zootechnical Department of our company, with advice and animal feed support for the proper management of animals in order to improve their healthy living and the milk quality.

This year, we have developed Livestock Contracting in collaboration with Piraeus Bank to stay close to our producers in the season, which seems to have several difficulties.
