Baked Dopio Cheese Neochorouda with Cherry Tomatoes

Ingredients

(Serves 2–3)

  • 250 g Local Neochorouda Cheese
  • 400 g cherry tomatoes
  • 2–3 garlic cloves (10–12 g)
  • 70–80 g olive oil
  • 1 tsp oregano or thyme
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Chili flakes (optional)
  • Fresh basil to finish

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Place the Local Neochorouda Cheese in the center of a baking dish.
  3. Add cherry tomatoes and garlic around it.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with oregano and pepper.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes until the cheese softens and the tomatoes burst.
  6. Gently mix to create a creamy sauce.
  7. Finish with fresh basil and serve warm.
