Pears stuffed with KYANO blue cheese

Ingredients

  • Igredients:
  • 3 large pears
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil
  • 100g blue cheese KYANO ARVANITI crushed
  • ⅓ cup walnuts, chopped
  • 3 sprigs of fresh thyme
  • 1-2 tbsp. honey
  • 1/2 tsp. Bukovo
  • some salt and pepper

Directions

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Cut the pears in half lengthwise, removing the seeds.

Place in a pan with the cut side up.

Sprinkle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Turn pears cut side down and transfer them to the oven where we bake them for 15 minutes.

After the 15 minutes have passed, turn them over and fill them with the KYANO blue cheese, walnuts and thyme.

Place back in the oven and bake for 8′-10′ until the cheese melts a little.

Once the pears are ready, transfer them to a plate and sprinkle with the honey and bukovo.

Enjoy it either with a strong red wine, or with more subtle rosé.
