Traditional Greek trachanas

Ingredients

  • 1 cup trachanas sour or sweet
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 200 gr. goat cheese Tsantilaki (coarsely grated)
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • Bukovo powder
  • Sea salt
  • Freshly ground pepper

Directions

In a saucepan, simmer the water and add the trachana and the milk.

Stir with a ladle and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes.

Always make sure it has enough water so that it does not stick.

Just before the end, add the olive oil, salt, pepper, boukovo, pieces of goat cheese Tsantilaki.

Stir lightly and serve in bowls.

If you want, rub a little pepper on top.
